El Consejo General del Instituto Estatal Electoral y de Participación Ciudadana (IEEPC) informó las actividades realizadas por integrantes de su Consejo, la Secretaría Ejecutiva, así como los escritos recibidos por ésta, al realizar la Sesión Ordinaria del mes, este 24 de octubre.
La Consejera Presidenta, Beatriz Adriana Camacho Carrasco, acudió como invitada al Encuentro América Abierta, celebrado en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana; al Primer Informe del Ejecutivo Estatal, Samuel García, en el Congreso local y Teatro de la Ciudad; y a la Presentación del Informe País 2020: El curso de la democracia en México, en el Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE), en la Ciudad de México; comunicó el Encargado de Despacho de la Secretaría Ejecutiva, Luis Javier Vaquero Ochoa, al leer el informe respectivo.
Así también, agregó que la Presidenta del IEEPC, participó en la presentación del libro: Una misma familia. Migración y mestizaje, del INE, en la Feria Internacional del Libro (FIL) Monterrey 2022; y también dentro de la Feria, fue ponente en el Panel Ciudadanos en Voz Alta: 45 años de logros y desafíos del Consejo Cívico, donde se presentó una obra con el mismo nombre.
Camacho Carrasco también formó parte del presídium que presentó el libro: Delitos electorales y sus instituciones en América Latina, evento organizado por la Fiscalía Especializada en Delitos Electorales (FEDE) de Nuevo León, en la Facultad de Derecho y Criminología (FACDYC) de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL); del que presentó la obra: Manual de periodismo judicial electoral, en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación (FCC) de la UANL; y del que inauguró el Foro Nacional Experiencias y Retos de los procesos electorales, de la FEDE NL, en Colegio Civil, Centro Cultural Universitario; refirió Vaquero Ochoa.
Asimismo, la titular del Instituto tomó el Taller en Igualdad Laboral y No Discriminación; y cerró con unas palabras y una dinámica de reflexión, la proyección del documental, Las sufragistas. Ambos eventos llevados a cabo en las instalaciones del IEEPC.
E impartió una conferencia magistral en el marco del congreso Mujeres indígenas: ciudades y ciudadanías, que organizó la Escuela de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM), en el Laboratorio Cultural Ciudadano (LABNL), añadió Vaquero Ochoa.
Por su parte, el Consejero Electoral, Alfonso Roiz Elizondo, fue comentarista presencial en la presentación del libro: Democracia en punto de inflexión: Reflexiones del proceso electoral 2020-2021, realizada en el Instituto Electoral del Estado de Querétaro (IEEQ); indicó la Consejera Electoral, Rocío Rosiles Mejía.
Y respecto a sus actividades, Rosiles Mejía indicó que asistió al Primer Informe del Gobernador del Estado, en el Teatro de la Ciudad; al evento de cancelación de Estampilla Postal Conmemorativa por el día del trabajador del ISSSTE; y al Foro Nacional Experiencias y Retos de los procesos electorales, de la FEDE NL; ambos en Colegio Civil; así como a la presentación de los textos Ley General en materia de delitos electorales comentada y Glosario Penal Electoral, organizada por la FEDE NL en la FIL.
Además, participó como ponente de manera virtual con el tema: ¿Es exigible a través de un medio de impugnación en materia electoral el cumplimiento del resultado vinculante de una consulta popular?, en el XXXIII Congreso Internacional de Estudios Electorales: América Latina y El Caribe, elecciones y virajes políticos, organizado por la Sociedad Mexicana de Estudios Electorales, A.C. (SOMEE).
Y moderó la presentación del libro Perfiles del electorado nuevoleonés 2021, organizada por el IEEPC en el marco de la FIL.
Igualmente, Rosiles Mejía, asistió a la presentación del Manual de Periodismo Judicial Electoral, en la FCC; y al Diálogo entre líderes estudiantes, organizado por la misma Facultad, en el marco del aniversario número 44 de ésta.
En la misma Sesión, Luis Javier Vaquero Ochoa, informó al Consejo General cada uno de los escritos que recibió el IEEPC a través de la Secretaría, y las actividades realizadas por ésta y las diferentes direcciones y unidades del organismo electoral.
