Con el objetivo de brindar espacios dignos para que las personas visiten a sus difuntos el próximo dos de noviembre, Día de Muertos, personal de la secretaría de servicios públicos de Monterrey trabaja en la limpieza y deshierbe de los cuatro panteones municipales.
El personal de mantenimiento de la dirección de servicios técnicos de la dependencia, retira la maleza, limpieza y mantenimiento general, informó Iván Soto, coordinador de la dirección.
“Estamos haciendo labores de limpieza, de poda, posteriormente vamos retirando la basura vegetal que se vaya generando, también los visitantes colocan en las orillas aquellas flores o arreglos que hayan dejado antes y es señal de que las podemos retirar”.
“Es importante preparar los espacios para que estén dignos y seguros para los ciudadanos, para las familias que van a venir el próximo dos de noviembre”, detalló.
Sumados a estos trabajos, los panteones Estanzuela, San Jorge, Topo Chico y Valle Verde, serán fumigados para evitar la proliferación de mosquitos transmisores de enfermedades, cuya propagación se da luego de la temporada de lluvias.
“A la par viene personal de fumigación para repeler el mosquito de todo el panteón, la Dirección de Imagen y Mantenimiento Urbano también viene, ubica los puntos a pintar, sobre todo las rotondas que hay, y se plantan flores en algunos espacios”, explicó.
Como cada año, Servicios Públicos, Protección Civil de Monterrey y la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana implementará un operativo en los panteones que arrancará el 28 de octubre.
“Esperamos que empiece a llegar gente a partir del 29 de octubre hasta el miércoles dos de noviembre, cuándo es la festividad, consideramos tener una gran afluencia de personas que vengan a recordar a sus difuntos”, indicó el funcionario.
