Para proteger la integridad tanto de los cerca de 3 mil participantes de la Carrera Víboras 5K de la Universidad Autónoma Nuevo León, así como de los corredores de los 21K Regio, en su novena edición, la Dirección de Vialidad y Tránsito de Monterrey implementará operativos viales, este domingo 23 de octubre.
Operativo Vial por Carrera Víboras 5K
El evento atlético dará inicio a las 6:00 horas en el perímetro del área médica de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), en la Colonia Mitras Centro, zona que se mantendrá cerrada a la vialidad de algunos carriles, hasta las 10:00 horas.
La salida y meta se instalará frente a la Facultad de Medicina. Los participantes tomarán la calle Doctor Eduardo Aguirre Pequeño hacia el sur y darán vuelta en la Avenida Madero al poniente hasta llegar a la Avenida Gonzalitos, para después continuar hacia el norte.
Luego los corredores tomarán la calle Doctor Carlos Canseco hacia el oriente para continuar de nuevo por la calle Doctor Eduardo Aguirre Pequeño hacia el sur para llegar a la meta.
Operativo Vial por Carrera 21K Regio
Los cierres de algunas de las principales avenidas de la ciudad serán a partir de las 4:00 horas, ya que la carrera iniciará a las 7:00 horas, en la Avenida Constitución y Morelos, frente al Barrio Antiguo, en donde también estará la meta.
El recorrido será por la Avenida Constitución hacia el poniente hasta Gonzalitos, en donde tomarán el retorno para cruzar el Río Santa Catarina para llegar a Morones Prieto y luego enfilarán hacia el oriente.
Los deportistas llegarán hasta la gaza que conecta la Avenida Morones Prieto con la Avenida Churubusco y al llegar a Prolongación Madero retornarán hasta tomar de nuevo la Avenida Constitución al poniente.
La Dirección de Vialidad y Tránsito de Monterrey exhorta a los automovilistas a tomar otras rutas alternas y evitar el tránsito vehicular por el recorrido de dichos eventos atléticos.
Además, en el perímetro de la carrera habrá agentes de tránsito para dar seguridad a los deportistas y también poder orientar a los conductores.
